Bei dem ivLayer ("Interactive Visions Layer") handelt es sich um eine statische Bibliothek zur Nutzung mit wxWidgets (wxWidgets Klassen nutzend), MFC (Microsoft Foundation Classes) (MFC Klassen nutzend) und eventuell weiteren Gerüsten. Diese wird als Abstraktionsschicht zwischen einer neuen Anwendung und dem entsprechenden Gerüst arbeiten.
